Position Overview
The Client Services Coordinator plays a crucial role in our Community & Respite Services department, focusing on developing and coordinating activities that resonate with our clients. This full-time position is based at the Garden City Multi Service Center and involves creating monthly activity calendars, managing daily events, and ensuring clients are informed about available services.
In addition to activity management, the coordinator will handle client onboarding and discharges, maintain care plans, and collaborate with families and other stakeholders to deliver exceptional service. Regular reporting to the Community Services Manager will be required to maintain compliance and quality standards.
Who We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate will exhibit a client-centered approach, demonstrating empathy and a commitment to enhancing client engagement through meaningful activities.
- Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Community Services, or a related field.
- Experience in client-focused roles, particularly in aged care or community services.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in client management systems for record-keeping.
This role requires the ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a keen attention to detail. A valid driver's license and current First Aid certification are essential for this position.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $80,000, commensurate with experience. Additional benefits may include ongoing training, professional development opportunities, and a supportive work environment.
