AQ's Multi Service Centres provide a restorative and wellness approach to support older people stay engaged within their community. Our Multi Service Centres are based in home-like cottages in order to evoke feelings of comfort, relaxation and personability, familiarity and independence. Activities are currently carried out in the respite centre, in the community and in clients homes which ensures each person receives personalised care whilst being supported to achieve individual goals.

Career Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced manager to oversee the operations of the centre which runs the Community Home Support Program (CHSP) in Upper Mt Gravatt.

Your primary focus will be to lead and manage the multiservice team including business and workforce planning and systems to ensure effective service delivery and quality of care. This includes overseeing the centre operations in all matters relating to standard of care, legislative requirements, staffing, finances and business operations.

Requirements for success

  • Management experience in aged or community care
  • Extensive knowledge of CHSP - Commonwealth Home Support Programs and current aged care standards
  • Strong track record in leading person-centred, quality and compliant services to improve the well-being of the frail aged
  • Demonstrated ability to lead business and resource planning, to deliver outcomes on time and within budget
  • A track record in innovation, service design, quality improvement and leading change
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, together with the ability to advocate and influence stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes
  • High levels of emotional intelligence in people management, coaching, mentoring and professional development of others
