About This Opportunity
Join Alzheimer’s Queensland as a Clinical Nurse, providing clinical leadership and ensuring safe, high-quality, person-centered care within our residential aged care service.
This is a permanent full-time position where you will take accountability for clinical governance on shift, support and guide care teams, and drive continuous improvement in resident outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive clinical care including assessment, planning, and evaluation.
- Provide clinical leadership and supervision to nursing and care staff.
- Monitor resident health and respond to changes, escalating risks appropriately.
- Ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards and clinical governance requirements.
- Oversee medication management and clinical documentation accuracy.
- Support audits, accreditation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage clinical risks, incidents, and infection control practices.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

About You
- Must have full Australian working rights with no restrictions.
- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
- Experience in aged care or gerontology nursing.
- Strong clinical skills including medication and care planning.
- Experience leading or supervising clinical teams.
- Solid understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards and compliance.
- Strong communication and decision-making capability.
