Regional Services Manager – Brisbane South (Maternity Leave Opportunity)


June 2026 – March 2027 | 10 - Month Contract

Alzheimer’s Queensland (AQ) is seeking a commercially astute and people-focused leader to guide our Garden City Multi-Service Centre, supporting older people to remain connected, engaged, and living well in their community.

The Role

You will take ownership of day-to-day operations across centre-based and community services, ensuring safe, high-quality, and person-centred care for older Australians and their families.

You will:

  • Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team
  • Drive operational performance and financial outcomes
  • Strengthen referral pathways and community partnerships
  • Grow service utilisation through local engagement
  • Ensure compliance, quality, and effective reporting

Working closely with the State Manager, you will balance commercial performance with compassionate leadership to ensure the service continues to thrive.

About You

You are an experienced leader who can step in, build trust quickly, and make an immediate impact.

You bring:

  • Experience managing service delivery, budgets, and performance
  • A confident, people-first leadership style
  • The ability to build strong stakeholder relationships
  • Sound understanding of governance, compliance, and risk
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach
