About the Opportunity

Alzheimer’s Queensland is seeking a senior clinician to join our Community Services Governance team. You will work closely with community teams across Queensland and New South Wales to support, guide, and coach staff, ensuring that care delivery meets organisational standards, client needs, and quality expectations.

This is a hands-on, client-focused role where you will:

  • Support teams to provide person-centred, high-quality care that promotes client independence, wellbeing, and engagement.
  • Ensure service standards, policies, and minimum support levels are consistently met across community programs.
  • Identify, assess, and escalate risks or concerns, providing guidance to staff to maintain safe and effective care.
  • Conduct audits and lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and client outcomes.
  • Coach, mentor, and educate staff to embed best practice, independence, and a client-focused approach.
  • Collaborate across teams and locations to maintain consistency, high-quality standards, and a culture of ongoing improvement

About You

You are a Registered Nurse or Advanced Practice EN who:

  • Has experience in community or home-based care, with knowledge of aged care standards and quality frameworks.
  • Can make autonomous decisions regarding service delivery and client safety.
  • Enjoys mentoring and supporting staff to provide person-centred, empowering care.
  • Understands the importance of client independence, social engagement, and wellbeing.
  • Is proactive, organised, and solutions-focused, with the ability to work across multiple locations
