About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Administration Officer to support the day-to-day operations of our Multi-Service Centre in Ipswich.
This is a busy, hands-on role where you will be central to coordinating administration, rostering, and client services within a community-based aged care respite centre.
Working closely with the management and Community Services team, you’ll need to be highly organised, adaptable, and confident managing competing priorities while maintaining confidentiality at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Management and Community Services team
- Coordinate and maintain staff rostering, including changes and service updates
- Manage high-volume data entry across client and staff systems
- Act as the first point of contact for calls and enquiries
- Support reporting, service confirmations, and scheduling updates
- Assist with coordination of carer programs and support groups
- Prepare meeting documentation and take minutes
- Maintain staff training, compliance, and records
- Support quality audits and reporting requirements
- Liaise with internal teams, including accounts
- Manage ordering and stock control (including groceries and PPE)
About You
- Experience in an Administration Officer role within a fast-paced environment
- Experience in aged care, community services, or health (highly regarded)
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
- Experience with rostering/scheduling systems and databases
- High attention to detail across data entry and documentation
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong communication skills and a professional, client-focused approach
- A reliable team player who contributes positively to team outcomes
- Current Open Driver’s Licence
