We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Lifestyle & Leisure Coordinator to join our team at our Paddington (Rosalie) aged care residence, a welcoming 40-bed women-only home. In this role, you will play an important part in creating engaging lifestyle programs that enhance the emotional, physical, and social wellbeing of our residents.

This is a permanent full-time position, ideal for someone who enjoys connecting with people and making a positive impact in the lives of older Australians.

About the Role

As the Lifestyle & Leisure Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering meaningful lifestyle programs that reflect the interests, abilities, and preferences of residents.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging lifestyle and recreational activities
  • Supporting residents’ social, emotional, and physical wellbeing
  • Encouraging participation in group and individual activities
  • Organising special events, celebrations, and community engagement activities
  • Working closely with care staff and families to support person-centred care
  • Maintaining documentation and lifestyle program records in line with Aged Care Quality Standards

About You

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

  • Experience working in lifestyle, leisure, or activities coordination within aged care
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships with residents
  • Creativity and enthusiasm in planning engaging activities and events
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • A genuine passion for supporting older people’s wellbeing and quality of life
  • Relevant qualification such as Certificate IV in Leisure and Health, Lifestyle and Leisure, or similar (desirable)
