Alzheimer's Queensland (AQ) has been working to empower older people, especially people with dementia and their carers to maintain a socially valued life. AQ provides support, education, information, and direct care services.

We are currently looking for 1 additional member of the Clinical Governance team due to internal promotions. This role will have a key focus on customer service and continuous improvement.

The team assists the organisation to deliver excellent services, maintain compliance with standards and has a key function in the identification of risk.

  • A problem-solving approach to identification and actions required to address suggested or necessary continuous improvement areas
  • A hands-on approach to change & a willingness to work alongside our front-line staff. This will require you to be flexible and adaptable to the changing needs of the organisation and to manage and prioritise your work schedule to ensure that the urgent does not overtake the necessary
  • A willingness to share knowledge in a non-judgemental and supportive fashion including formal & informal education sessions
  • The awareness and application of escalation principles of risk identification and management
  • The opportunity to work on or lead various continuous improvement projects or initiatives will form a part of this role
  • You must have exemplary attention to detail in all aspects of this role including researching the requirements excellent care requirements
  • Health Care background with experience within the aged care sector ideal, however other experience may be considered (APHRA registration preferred though not essential)
  • Advanced computer literacy skills & the ability to work within and manage databases
  • Drivers Licence & National Police Check
  • This role may require occasional travel within SE QLD & NSW when required
