Your Role as a Community Support Assistant

As a Community Support Assistant, you will play a critical role in empowering older individuals to live independently and participate actively in their communities. Your responsibilities will encompass social support, personal care, medication assistance, meal preparation, and light domestic duties within clients' homes.

Who We’re Looking For

We seek dedicated individuals who are driven by the desire to improve the lives of older Australians and their families. If you possess the following attributes, we want to hear from you:

  • A genuine passion for supporting the elderly, with relevant experience.
  • Exceptional time management skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Strong verbal and written communication capabilities.
  • Availability to work between 6am-6pm for 8 to 20 hours weekly, with flexibility for fill-in shifts.
  • Minimum Cert III in Aged Care/Community Care/Individual Support (or equivalent), along with a current First Aid & CPR Certificate.
  • A valid Queensland Open Driver’s License, reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance, and a mobile phone.
  • A National Police Certificate or willingness to obtain one.
