We are seeking passionate Community Support Assistants to join our community care team on a casual basis. This role supports aged care clients aged 65 years and above within their own homes, delivering services with a strong person-centred care approach.
You will play a meaningful role in enabling clients to remain engaged in their community while maintaining independence and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and daily living support
- Assist with social support and community access
- Prepare meals and provide light domestic assistance
- Maintain clear communication and accurate documentation
Requirements
- Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, or Community Care (essential)
- Previous experience supporting older people in a community setting
- Strong time management and ability to work autonomously
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Availability to commit to approximately 20 hours per week
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Current Queensland Open Driver’s Licence
- Reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
- Smart phone
- National Police Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
Salary & Benefits
