At Alzheimer’s Queensland (AQ), we are committed to delivering safe, high-quality residential aged care within a supportive and well-governed environment.

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at Garden City Aged Care in a Permanent Part-Time role offering dedicated 30 hours per fortnight.

In this role, you will provide clinical leadership and ensure the delivery of safe, evidence-based care to residents.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Clinical assessment, care planning and evaluation
  • Medication administration and accurate documentation
  • Supporting and guiding care staff
  • Managing residents with medium to complex clinical needs
  • Ensuring compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards and mandatory reporting obligations
  • Covering Clinical Nurse leave and backfilling leadership responsibilities when required

About You

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in residential aged care
  • Strong clinical judgement and leadership capability
  • Sound understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards and regulatory requirements
  • Ability to work across AM, PM and Night Duty shifts
  • Friendly and collaborative team player who builds positive relationships with staff and residents
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Clear National Police Check
  • Current COVID-19 vaccinations
