The Opportunity

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Hospitality Assistant (Kitchen) to join our welcoming team at our Windsor residential home.

In this role, you will support daily kitchen operations, helping ensure residents receive nutritious, safe, and enjoyable meals in a warm and respectful environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with meal preparation, plating, and meal service

  • Support IDDSI-compliant food preparation, including texture-modified diets

  • Follow food safety, infection control, and hygiene standards

  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation within kitchen and food service areas

  • Work collaboratively with chefs, hospitality, and care teams

About You

You are organised, caring, and take pride in delivering high-quality food services for older people.

You’ll bring:

  • Previous experience in a kitchenhand or hospitality role (aged care preferred)

  • Knowledge of IDDSI standards and texture-modified diets (or willingness to learn)

  • Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices

  • Ability to manage time effectively and work independently

  • A patient, respectful, and team-oriented approach

  • Availability to work up to 6 shifts per fortnight
