Regional Services Manager – Community Services

Founded in 1983, Alzheimer’s Queensland (AQ) is Australia’s largest dementia association and a leading not-for-profit provider of aged care and community services. Guided by our Social Role Valorisation (SRV) philosophy, we support older Australians to live meaningful, dignified lives in line with the Charter of Aged Care Rights.

We are seeking an experienced Regional Services Manager to support the delivery of high-quality centre-based CHSP and Support at Home SAH community services across Ipswich region.

Reporting to the State Manager, you will work closely with the Community Services Manager to coordinate services, support staff, engage with clients and families, and ensure services meet funding, quality and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities for this role but not limited to:

  • Support planning, coordination and evaluation of community services
  • Build strong relationships with clients, families and stakeholders
  • Build and maintain strong networks with referrers, community organisations, health professionals and local stakeholders
  • Assist with staff coordination, rostering, onboarding and performance support
  • Ensure accurate client documentation and service reporting.
  • Support respite services and smooth transitions across care programs
  • Contribute to audits, accreditation, reporting and budgeting
  • Act as second-in-charge to the Community Services Manager as required

Essentials to be successful in this role:

  • Qualification in aged care, community services or related field
  • Experience in Leadership in Community aged care for CHSP and SAH.
  • Strong knowledge of dementia care and the Charter of Aged Care Rights
  • Excellent communication, time management and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient knowledge of My Aged Care Portal
  • Current Police Check, First Aid & CPR and Driver’s licence
