Your Role as a Community Support Assistant

As a Community Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping older people remain living safely and independently in their own homes.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Social support and companionship

  • Personal care assistance

  • Medication assistance

  • Meal preparation

  • Light domestic duties

You will support clients within their homes and local communities, building trusted relationships and delivering care that truly makes a difference.

Who We’re Looking For

We are seeking compassionate and reliable individuals who are passionate about supporting older Australians. You will bring:

  • A genuine passion for aged care, with relevant experience

  • Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Availability between 8:00am–4:00pm, working minimum of 20 hours per week, with flexibility for occasional fill-in shifts

  • Certificate III in Aged Care, Community Care, Individual Support (or equivalent)

  • Current First Aid & CPR Certificate

  • A Queensland Open Driver’s Licence, reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance, and a mobile phone

  • A National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
