Project Manager - Fixed Term – 9 to 12 months with potential for extension

 

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to lead the implementation of AlayaCare, a transformative cloud-based software solution for managing community and aged care services.

 

This is a fixed-term contract role, offering the opportunity to contribute to a critical project that will enhance service delivery and operational efficiency for the Association. We are a dedicated organisation committed to improving community and aged care services. About the Role

 

As the Project Manager, you will lead all aspects of the AlayaCare implementation, ensuring the platform is deployed successfully within the agreed timeframe and budget. Working closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners, you will deliver a solution that aligns with the organisation’s strategic objectives and enhances operational efficiency.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the end-to-end implementation of AlayaCare, including mapping, planning, execution, stabilization, and evaluation.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define project goals, objectives, and key milestones to meet deadlines.
  • Develop a comprehensive transition plan outlining objectives, milestones, and timelines.
  • Partner with the AlayaCare Project Lead to integrate the platform into existing workflows and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks while addressing project issues to minimize disruptions.
  • Provide regular progress updates to senior management and stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency.
  • Facilitate change management initiatives and deliver tailored staff training to ensure successful system adoption.
  • Design and implement a training program prior to Go-Live to support a smooth transition.
  • Develop and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for community software, ensuring alignment with AlayaCare University standards.
  • Monitor and optimize the platform’s performance post-implementation, ensuring it delivers the expected outcomes through stabilization and beyond.

 

Key Attributes and Skills

  • Proven experience in managing software implementation projects, ideally within community or aged care sectors.
  • Expertise in data migration processes, ensuring accurate and clean data transfer.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, PRINCE2).
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to manage diverse needs and expectations.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results under tight deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on achieving outcomes and driving continuous improvement.
  • Experience in designing and delivering training programs to staff at various levels

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, IT, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience with AlayaCare or similar healthcare software is an advantage,

  • Start Date: Early January 2025
  • Remuneration: Competitive, commensurate with experience.
