THE ROLE

We are seeking Community Support Assistants to provide a range of services to elderly clients, including social support, personal care, medication support, meal preparation, light domestic duties, and transportation. As a member of our team, you will focus on restorative and wellness approaches to support our clients' independence and engagement.

Your work as a casual Community Support Assistant will make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients and their families. We are looking for individuals with experience in aged care or support work who possess attributes such as respect, confidentiality, understanding, and empathy. 

ABOUT YOU

  • Cert III qualification in Aged Care/Community Care/Individual Support is essential
  • Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
  • Current Queensland Open Drivers Licence
  • Reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance and QLD registration
  • Decent availability to cover casual shifts 7 days a week
  • National Police Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • Ability to speak Mandarin to support culturally and linguistically diverse clients is highly desirable
